The Ridgefield Library welcomes Babs Costello back to the Ridge!
Cookbook author, wildly popular
Gram-fluencer of Instagram and TikTok with more than 7 million followers, Babs
is a former Ridgefielder, teacher and 20-year owner of The Growing Tree, a
beloved pre-school that she operated in town. Babs and her husband - now fondly
known as “Mr. Babs” - raised four children in Ridgefield, a community they hold
near and dear to their hearts.
Fran Hauser will join us in moderating this
conversation – enlightening and entertaining us with stories of Babs’ and her
own life paths, their unexpected career pivots and inspiring
transformations. Fran, a former TIME media executive, is a sought-after
women’s empowerment thought leader and keynote speaker. She is the best-selling
author of Myth of the Nice Girl and Embrace the Work, Love Your Career and Reflect & Reset; An Embrace Your Life Journal. Her most recent venture is as
founder of Bookbound Co., an innovative coaching enterprise helping first time authors get
published.
Attendees
will enjoy signature cocktails and light bites served from a fabulous grazing
table prepared by our sponsors The
Benjamin, followed by a
meet and greet and photo opportunity with our speakers. The main event will be
an intimate Q&A where Babs and Fran reveal their inspiring personal
stories, sharing how their choices and values empowered the extraordinary lives they are living today.
Thanks to our generous speakers and to our sponsors Bookbound Co., Heather Neumann Salaga, Mercedes-Benz of Danbury and The Benjamin.
Their books will be on sale at the event, courtesy of Books on the
Common.
